London, I'm here! Shit, damn sleepy! 13 hours of plane ride, then, when we reached Heathrow, long long queue through imigration! That took an hour, mind you, jet lagged somemore.. Then, when we reached the counter, the lady said I needed to get x-rayed, since I'm going to be there more than 6 months. Grrr, so I had to strip into a gown and after that, needed to go through another line to get a chop on my passport! Grrrr!
After that, we were supposed to get an underground train to Victoria Station (our hotel is near the station) and noticed that the doors were shut. Huh? But it was only 6pm? Even our LRT don't close that early! Turns out, there was a strike that day! Another GRRRR! So we drag out luggages up to get a taxi, and thats another loooong queue. Because there was a strike, so everyone was rushing to get a cab.
Finally, reached out hotel. Shit! No lift, so we had to drag our huge (mine) luggages upstairs, to level 3, through narrow staircase (thinking of it, makes my legs shiver, brrr) but I was so extremely tired, that May had to carry it up. Surprisingly, she was very energetic. According to her, she slept most of the time on the plane, which I did not -.-
After splashing our face with some water, we decided to hunt for some dinner and May insisted we eat in some 'seafood' place.
May in her energetic body
Our fish soup. Quite nice
Chicken and Fries. Yuck!
May's Fish and Chips. Yuck, got peas! But the fish was verrry good
Next day, we went to Leicester Square to queue for musical tickets at Tkts. According to May they give discounts with very good seats Smile!
While we were there, we decided to walk around. Oh, China town was just opposite Leicester Square!
Later for dinner we ate at Belgos, Convent Garden
Shit, this musical is SOOO good!! Must watch must watch! But the accent is really thick, so quite hard to understand their talkings. But damn, the boy can dance!!
