Gwen Stefani In KL!!!!!

Gwen Stefani live here in Kuala Lumpur??? Unbelievable!!! A dream come truee!! Mussst watch no matter how expensive tickets are! As you can see from the ticket on top -_- the may paid by the way ^_^

The concert was suppose to start at 8.30,but they only let us in at 8.15pm -_-, well me and May were late,so we had to queue in this seriously long long line to get into the stadium, May was grumbling cause i won't let her cut line :P, but hey,at least we got in in time!

When we went for the Mariah Carey concert the last time, i thnk she only came out at...9.30pm? We waited for an hour and a half for her to show up! But for Gwen? 9 on the dot,she showed up on stage! Punctual!! (Me and May just reached out seats * It was so high up,we didn't dare look down*)

People were screaming and screaming (so did we) She was sooo pretty, looks exactly like how we always see her in magazines and on TV. Sigh... Anyways, she started of with Sweet Escape. Good Good song. We wanted to get up from out seat and dance, but we were afraid of heights. Our seats were seriously so high up and the stairs are so steep! Her Harajuku girls were there too. Man,they sure can dance!!

Gwen Stefani,from the stage

She sang all her hit songs, even from her previous album like Cool, Luxurious, Rich Girl, 4 in the Morning, Hollaback Girl, Wind it Up and some songs from the new album. Everyone was singing along to her songs. It was super super cool!

There was one point where she jumped off the stage and ran around to the back and climbed up some chair looking thingys and started to shake everyones hand!!! They went absolutely willld!!! Grrrrr, I'm so jealous!! I wanna shake her hand too!! Fume..

For her encore, she sang What You Waiting For. Really really good! Everyone knew it was her last song, we didn't care how high we were, everyone of us stood up and started screaming, shouting and dancing cause that was her last song. Beat was really really great! She's got a really good band and some bad ass dancers behind her. Oh yeah,I think one of the Harajuku dancers couldn't make it that one of the them was a Malaysian dancer ^_^ awesome!

There was one point when everyone left the stage and we thought the concert was over! Everyone was screaming for an encore! Chants of "We want more!" or "We want Gwen!" could be heard for 5 minutes. It was then she came out (dressed differently) and sang What You Waiting For. She didn't exactly change much. Most of the time a t-shirt and this suit looking thingy. Oh yeah, and she also wished us terima kasih and happy independence day! So sweet! She also added that she's almost a Malaysian cause her husband,Gavin Rossdale's mother is a malaysian!!! How cool is that!!!

We love Gwen Stefani!!! Please come back again soon!!! Malaysia loves you!!!!!

Thailand's yummy gooodies

We went to Thailand's China Town the 2nd night. Woo wee, there's so manyyy food to taste! What was recommended the most was the Shark's Fin and Bird's Nest. So okaaay, we tried both of them in two different restaurant. (so sue us,we're greedy :P)

Bird's nest. Excellent!!

Shark's Fin. Soooo goood... They serve with vinegar, corriander and ..erm..chung. Forgot whats it call in English.

These are fried scallops with clear noodle or tong fun on top

Unveil the noodles and you get....

This restaurant was recommended for Shark's fin and bird's nests. And it's really good..

Next stop, cabbages and condoms :D

Tom Yum Gung is recommended to have in Thailand,so thats we had. Yummyy..

Some fried stuff. Lucky wrap of some sort. You can even eat the fried green stuff on the bottom..I think..

Next stop, Lana Thai. Their food is goood. Atmosphere is nice..very classy. Picture above is pandan chicken which is something recommended too

For dessert we had mango and sticky rice. This is fantastic! We were told that curries in Thailand is nice. But.. I didn't really like it. Too.. creamy for me.

Next stop, Chatuchak market. This was the noodle everyone was eating,so we decided to share one bowl. Its purple.. I dunno why

Next stop, another restaurant which i forgot the name. This is some..ball-y thing.. quite spicy

Pad Thai noodle. I dunno what's the big deal about this noodle. Cause i find fried kuew teow back home tastier. This is too sweet and salty

Hmm, I thought i had more pictures.. Oh well..

Thailand, baby!!

Okay, got my 3 days of leave approved. It's Thailand baby, YEAH!
When me and my sister reached the soils of Thailand, we were amazed on how big the airport was. We were so damn tired,we couldn't even think at the moment. All we wanted.. I mean, what "I" wanted to do was sleeeep, so I couldn't wait till we reach the hotel. So, when we did, to my obsolute horror, we were at a back alley, which is the front entrance to the hotel and...hooker land. My poor fragile heart.. I've never seen this much hooker in my entire life. Er, did I mention that some of them are guys dressed as woman?? Brrrrr... So, okay, calm down yin.. walk into the pretty hotel, and get a good night sleep and maybe when you wake up,things won't looks so horrifying in the morning. Okay.. so not only do we have reservations at a hotel at hooker street, the lift decides to be on "maintenance" from the day we arrive.. WAAAAHH, so up up we go to the 4th floor carting out big big luggages, (may's was a little tote, cause she wanted to put all her souvenirs into mine so she won't get stop by imigration.. sulk..)
May claims if you RUN,we wouldn't be as tired as we walk up the stairs.. I'm here to officially annouced that, I, Yinyin have tried both ways, and they both gave me heart attacks when i reach the 4th floor. So, okay the room was really nice. It's clean, nice bathroom and a cool air conditioner.

2nd day

So up the next day at..9.30am.. (everyone knows yin doesn't wake up at this time voluntarily). Oh god, hot hot hot.. Its so much cooler in KL, I don't think i've ever sweat this much. Sister is still fuming cause the hotel is refusing to feed us breakfast. (told us it wasn't in the rate). So fine, we'll just go out and get some yummy thai food to eat. Oh wait, noo, my sister "has" to get her clothes done in Narry.com. Well, they're actually famous for doing suits in a cheap rate, with good material. So off we go (i was grumbling all the way). Waited for her for an hour and was happier when she said it was time for breakfast. What i didn't realize was that breakfast was actually some little tid bits at the small little stands at the road side. Argh! Disgusting! Burn bananas and fried pork, which can be found in KL btw.
To save money for shoppping, we took trains to every shopping mall we wanted to visit. Man, everyone here are so fit! It's because they walk everywhere, and i mean everywheere! I don't think i've ever climb this much stairs ever!

So, MBS shopping complex is okay.. but the place is so packed with people. (Hello, school anyone?) It's like Sungai Wang in KL. Took a nice pic out it though :)
Me at MBK!

Me and May2!

Train Station. Grand eh?
What I noticed alot is that they have pictures of their king everywhere and I mean everywhere. I won't be putting pictures of food of thailand here since i have a load of collection of them in my comp :) But it will be solely dedicated to the next post :D

3rd day

Tired of shopping already, I demanded that we visit a tourist spot. So,to the palace we head. Ahh, a sight indeed. Not to mention,it's really bloody hot here and we have to wear long long jeans and long sleeve shirts. The palace was awesome! So gooold!! The temples! Gold! The painting! Gold! The place was huge too. This time,May was grumbling. She kept looking at her watch to show that she was bored. I was having a blast though and insisted on taking a picture of everything we see :) We didn't have a guide to tell us the history of the place, so we have to sneak hear a tour guide while pretending to see the scenery :(

Main Entrance of the palace (too many tourists around)

Me and May2!

Quite worried about the bee's on the flower.

May wouldn't leave until i pose like the statues :(

I need AIRRR!!!
May was bored,so she made me do weird shots like..sitting on a path where people walk..

May's doing a Samson impression.. (according to her,her hand couldn't even reach the other pillar -_-)

Okay, for lunch, we went to a restaurant called cabbages and...condom. Yup,you heard me right. cabbages and condoms. Their food is good. But what makes the restaurant interesting is they have pictures of all kinds and varieties of condoms. (they look like they've been used.. but how would i know, right :P)

This picture is funny :D

This notice board was outside the restaurant. The box was empty by the way :(

Guess what they're wearing

So that night *shame* we went to see the GoGo dances. If anyone of you haven't catch those shows yet,let me give you a heads up warning. They're seriously.. gross. That's all i can think off.. gross.. Brrr.. The "mamasan" kept asking me and my sister to watch the "guys" show, but May (my hero) kept telling them,we had plans later :) Half way through,we couldn't stand it so we just left. Basically, there are three girls which are the main characters. The blower, shooter and the stuffer. That's all I gotta say.

4th day

Chatuchak time. I'm-waiting-for-this-for-so-long.. May was really excited, cause she wanted to see how big the market was. By the way,did I not mention how bloody hot it was in there? People squeezing in a tiny tiny shop. I didn't like it,but I think May was in heaven.

Got sun burned.. :(

That's where we went in

Well, for me the trip was greaaat! Nice food, people are nice.. though when you go out at night, the trannys start following you around.. *may said i walk like a man..* Weather is sooo hot. At night, its 34 degrees! what the.. Anyway,it was fun trip! Sawadika!!
