Dinner In Melaka

Dinner in Melaka? Why, when we can have it in KL??

Because the May has spoken. Besides, I didn't give that much resistance anyway :P

Reach Melaka city around 8 something.

Straight away headed into Jonker Walk, where the weekend market was and all the yummy foods are

Went to A Famosa restaurant to grab some chicken rice ball. Never leave Melaka without eating their rice balls!

The restaurant caters more for foreigner's. Not as good as the recommended restaurant. But still, ain't that bad!

Next, headed for the Jonker Dessert. Best ice kacang and mee kari. Place was so damn packed, but we found a seat anyway. :D

My melted ice kacang. (waited too long in line for the noodle)

This is so damn good and I don't even like mee! I think this was the mee chicken rendang, if not mistaken. (The dry one, not the soup.)

Next, we went looking for the famous popiah stall. Which is..

closed. Damn it!

So while driving around, we notice the sign which says The Eye of Malaysia. It's here in Melaka?? I didn't know it moved here! So, I was looking around for it and May pointed it out to me.

Hah?! So small?? Can't even see the whole of Melaka la!!
Turns out, it's just a kiddies playground..
Thank god! Cause if this is our version of Eye of Malaysia, so damn embarassing!

Ahh, this is more like it..

Then we headed back home.. reach home at 1am. Very eerie, driving on the highway late at night! But we had Michael Jackson blasting through our speakers, so it's waaay cool!

Michael Jackson

An incredibly sad day for the whole world on the day Michael Jackson passed away from cardiac arrest. Heard the shocking news on the radio as I was driving to school.

Who is this Michael Jackson?

For me, funnily, I knew him as the guy who dances as he grabs his crotch.. Haha, not true.. okay, kinda true.

I began hearing his songs in high school from songs like Black & White, Heal the World to You are Not Alone. A good thing the radio channels were playing all of Michael's song that day, hearing those songs made me realize how much I miss hearing them.

Who cares if he's being accused of being a criminal offense?
Who cares if he's done multiple face surgery?
Who cares if he's skin is noticeably lighter than before?

He's the freakin King of Pop.
Or better known as the Greatest Entertainer that ever lived!
His concerts are electrifying!
I've put what I think are his best live concerts and songs below.

Love you Michael, you are at peace now.
