Hong Kong Disneyland

One word to describe Disneyland. Wooowwww!!! I loooove disneyland. Probably it's because i'm a big fan of Disney shows.. well, not the current ones. The old classic ones. Me and May were there from 10am to 8.30pm, and we still couldn't finish playing all the rides there! The queing to greet the Disney characters took up a lot of time.. But it was worth it :)

A picture of the castle

It's Sleeping Beauty's castle

Its huuuge in Disneyland!!! There are 4 places to visit in there, Adventureland, Fantasyland, Land of Tomorrow and... forgot the other one already. Some US street... Hmm, bad narrator

Tomorrowland!

Fantasy Gardens, where we met all the princesses and Disney characters like Minnie and Mickey

Belle from Beauty and the Beast

Snow White

Sleeping Beauty

Cinderella

Alice (She's the prettiest among the princesses, eventhough she's technically not a princess..)

Mulan

What's amazing is the characters in here are always so cheerful and smiley, they never fall out of their character mode at all? I don't think i can smile all day like them O.O

Buzz

Woody and Jessie

Tigger

Donald

Minnie

and... Chip and Dale!! They're a cute bunch!

Search for the pot of honey ride

The Sword of Stone

Here's a small performance we caught. It's really funny, and unfortunately i didn't take the whole thing cause my phone ran out of battery :( Basically he's just trying to find someone with a pure heart to pull the sword out and be king. Conclusion, he did find the boy, and he didn't want to be king and kept hitting the magician. Haha, so funny. Oh, the magician is talking in Cantonese, sorry no translation..

After catching a few rides, we ran out to the street to catch the "Let It Snow" parade. Very nice and entertaining

Little Mermaid
So, after the parade, we went to Santa's workshop for a bit and nearly missed the lighting of the castle >.<
The lighting of the castle was soooo beautiful!!! Mickey was conducting it and towards the end, there were fireworks!!! But just a few, cause at 8pm there were more fireworks at the castle, which was the main event of the day.. it was soooo beautiful. I have a small clip of the castle lighting up with fireworks towards the end. But I can't seem to upload it, it always comes up with an error :(

Yin & May's 1st Day In Hong Kong!!!

Went to Hong Kong for a holiday with May! Yay! 5 days there :) So, started the day there...at 2.35AM. So basically, 1st day didn't really count for much. Reach the airport, find our tour guide who was suppose to take us to the hotel. He wasnt where he was suppose to.. he came rushing in with apologies and all.. till now, i still don't know why he was late... So we only reach our hotel at 3.15AM.

Our hotel is called Kimberly Hotel. Thank God, it's in a nice, safe street. I don't think I can take another hooker street. Room's very nice. Kinda small. (Freezer is in the toilet..what the..) And no, the panda does not come as complimentary, this picture was only taken the day after hehe..

So the next day, we went to a restaurant called Chao Inn. Their Dim Sum's are 50% off till 12pm. We only woke up 10am, So we rushed there, and the place was paaaacked!! Dim Sum's were awweesomee!!

Oh yeah, the menus there are all in chinese.. Neither me nor May can read them. We had to call the waiter to help us out :P Hehe,so funny. Everyone was busy ordering, and we were busy trying to catch the waitress attention..not to order, but to explain every single dish on the menu. ehem, quite embarassing. Anyway, we got what we wanted, and the portions were huuuuge!!! Yum Yum!

This is Har Gau. Yums! See the size of the prawn in there?!

Siew Mai. Prawns in there are huge too!!!

This is a piece of Chee Cheong Fun. They don't cut it for you like back in KL, so you hav to cut it with your chopsticks, which is preety imposible back in KL cause the whole thing will break. Why? Cause the flour water which they put is too damn little or too watery. The Chee Cheong Fun here are nice and strong, so no matter how you cut,the inside won't break.

See the size of the prawn??!! (I'm pretty obsesive on the sizes of prawn aren't I?)

Mango pudding in a shape of a fish. (One fish is missing a tail cause May has eaten it)

So, after eating breakfast, we decided to head up to Hong Kong. Oh yeah forgot to mention, we're staying in Kowloon. To get to Hong Kong,we have to take a ferry there. See picture below?

The buildings you see are in Hong Kong Island.

Central Pier in Hong Kong island!

May wanted to go to Hollywood Road cause she said there are some good bargains there. We didn't see any though..

Christmas is coming. They planted many many of this Christmas flowers along the road side. I bought something from Marks & Spenser!

Roar! Me want lunch!

The reason we came to Hong Kong Island was to shop and to climb up the peak. There you can see the whole of Hong Kong, which was pretty amazing.

To go up, you need to get on the Peak Tram

Ehehe, before going up to the peak, we decided to visit Madame Tussauds. Ehehe, we did some funny stuff in there. May went a little ballistic when she saw Brad Pitt. Unfortunately, Angelina Jolie was beside him. And she said no worries, she will photoshop her off the picture. Hahaha!

Hi, Michelle, nice fan ;)

*Gasp* Is that you, Princess Di?

Hear me talk, Clinton and Bush!

I'm in a painting

Bond.. James Bond.. with Yin!

Ahhhh, Andy....

The dude from Winter Sonata

Is that you, Florence?

Erwin, someone wants to see you

Wassup, Kylie

So, after playing in there, we went up to the peak. And the view was spectacular. Not to mention, how damn cold it was up there. Hey, the weather in Hong Kong's not cold in the day time, but it is at night!! Thank god, didn't bring my woolies.. May did. Heeheehee..

View in the day time. We stayed there till night time to catch the lighted up buildings at night

View in the night

After taking pictures, we took the ferry back to Kowloon, and it's back to the hotel! Can't wait for tomorrow! (well, not so much, cause it's shopping mostly..)
