Friend found a really amazing deal online where it's 5 days and 4 nights in Ibiza and Easter break is coming up and since I like to see as much as I can before I head back to Malaysia, so why not? It was pretty exciting to know that I would be travelling out of the country with my friends. First time for me :) Ibiza is known for clubbers heaven, so I'm really curious to know how happening will Ibiza be.
The first day we reach we decided to take a cab to our apartment, Apartmentos Tramuntana at San Antonio. None of us knew where that was, I thought it was somewhere close to city centre. Turns out it's a beach area -.-. Once we reach San Antonio, it took us at least an hour to find our hotel. It was so hard to find without having GPRS on our cell's. Well, the apartment wasn't bad. Everything was clean, we even had a small private kitchen to cook our food, with plates, utensils and pots and pans.
After we unpacked, we headed off to find lunch. The next thing we notice is, erm, why are all the shops closed? Nearly everything is close on a weekday in the afternoon? Its so weird. But we brush it off thinking, maybe it's because they are close for tea, and they will open at night for dinner. So we went to the closest restaurant we could find cause we were STARVING!
A 24 hour super market which is closed :-S

Our room. (Okay, it's messy cause I forgot to take a picture before I took a nap :p)

Ordered the burger with 2 fried eggs. Yummeh!
Later, we decided to just walk around to find what is there to do. Our eyes start growing bigger when we realise that nothing, absolutely nothing is open. It's when we realise, ohhhhhh it's not in season, THAT's why the tickets are SO cheap! Great, trap in a deserted island with nothing open. PERFECT!
The beach, nothing to shout about
After walking around, we decided to head back to the hotel and catch a quick nap. The nap turned into a deep slumber and we woke up at 8.30pm. Hungry, we went haunting for dinner which is quite hard because NOTHING is open. Soon, we found a lively cafe and we went in. After some hand gestures and a mix of spanish and english, we ordered.
Carbonara. SO good!
Jane ordered the burger
After dinner, we headed back to the hotel thinking, maybe tomorrow more restaurants will open ^_^
2nd day, after looking franctically on my phone for nice restaurants to eat in San Antonio, finally I found a pizzeria where many tourist recommends it. So off, we head to David's Pizzeria.
For starter, I got the garlic bread. It's pretty good!
Geral's tomato salad. Taste pretty good as well!
Main course, the spaghetti bolognese. Portion is HUGE. Unfortunately, the taste.. not very nice at all. So BLAND! Jane's red sauce spaghetti looks like a bolognese and taste nothing like bolognese.
The pizza is huge! But the taste was just so-so.
Dessert, we had ice cream. Okay, at least this is good!
After lunch, we decided to walk around for a bit. Found a really nice postcard view scenery.
how por teng
For dinner, we went to a restaurant by the bay.
Avocado salad for starter (not bad!)
Jane's carrot soup
Creamy sauce chicken with rice. It's not the best, it's just okay
Had the orange sponge cake for dessert.
Then, it's back to the hotel for us. It's to the town the next day!
Love how every corner of the street is like something out of a postcard

The 3rd day, we took the bus from San Antonio to Eivissa, the town centre. Phew, it was such a sunny day, and ALOT of climbing.
First thing you notice are the big huge wall around the city centre
That's where we were aiming to go, the Dalt Vila. Apparently, the view from the top is magnificent.
Hand prints of celebrities ranging from Penelope Cruz to Humphrey Bogart
Gate into Dalt Villa
a Unesco Heritage
The next day, we took a boat out to Formentera. Boat ride was pretty expensive, but it was worth it

The island was quiet because it's off season, so it felt like we were the only people there. The view was even more magnificent and so so beautiful..
We rented bicycles to cycle around the island. The whole area is so pretty that we can't help stopping every minute just to pose for cameras and take pictures.

Our bicycles ^^
Sunset view. If only we took the boat to the island earlier we might be able to see more :(
But we had a really great time here, except for my little incident with the bicycle -.-
For dinner, we decided to go for a good Spanish restaurant in the city centre. Our waiter was really friendly. We wanted him to explain the dishes on the menu and it was a little difficult for him because he doesn't really speak English, so he explain as best as he could and in the end we ordered what he recommended.
The restaurant
The house wine recommended. Really good!
We were given dips and bread. OHMYGOD, the white dip was the best i have ever tasted. We practically licked the bowl clean :)
Jane's sea bass
and the main event, seafood tapas! Size is HUGE! Definitely made for more than 2 person. Its very good, but it's a little too salty?
So that concludes the Ibiza trip, would I come back again? Hmm.. nope. But for first timers, yes, you should
