The show's the same. Four guys in a group call F4, all cute, all mega rich. Though the difference is, the Japanese versions has 20 episodes while the Taiwanese versions has... 51 episodes. I don't see the point of having so many episodes, the storyline becomes draggy but yet... must.. finish..the..show..

Okay, yes, maybe the guys in the Taiwanese show are cuter, but the guys in the Japanese version are hell of alot better actors than them. Their acting in Meteor Garden are unbelievably bad (which I actually thought was okay then I change my mind when I saw Hana Yori Dango). It's so bad that I don't even know if they're acting or posing? Their faces are expressionless and they move like a robot.

It's a good thing they have Barbie Xu in the show, cause her acting in there is superb. The reason why there's a high rating for the show is only because the guys in there are cute! (Ok yes, i admit, that was why i looove the show)

Okay, maybe I shouldn't be so harsh, it is their FIRST acting gig.. But to choose which show is the better one... I'll definitely go for the Japanese version.

So.. to watch Goong S or not? While watching Goong, there were so many many comments on Goong S, saying it is a copycat of Goong, or it is so boring, or that the main characters are so ugly. So, to see what all the fuss is about, I watched it, even with the many reports on "a waste of time" and "boring"

Well, I've watch my final episode yesterday, and.. it is a copycat. It copies all the way from the bears to the same background instrumental song. No originality. Ahh, but I'm not saying you shouldn't watch it. It's a damn good drama, and it is a MUST watch. Very interesting, with the typical love triangle thing, (in this show, it went into rectangle).

Goong is about a commoner girl, who was forced to marry a prince. But for Goong S, a boy commoner, is trained to be a gong-ja. (Well, he was a prince to begin with, his mother, the queen was cast out of the palace). So, when watching Goong S, try NOT to compare to Goong. You'll be counting out the flaws in the show and you won't be watching the show for long.

mysoju is nice!

If you remember my post before, I was so mad that Veoh has taken Malaysia off their list, that I can't watch videos from their site anymore. What makes me angrier is that in mysoju.com, their video sources, most of them are from Veoh. Before this happen, I watch videos from mysoju every single day. Well, now I have to switch to crunchyroll.com because they have korean, japanese and chinese dramas there too (though now there is something wrong with the website where I can't even open the website now.. this shows that nothing good lasts forever)

So anyway, since I can't access the website, which I still don't know why, I went back to mysoju and it appears there are updates to the site now.

Beside the Date Added, there is a new column which shows which video source they have taken the shows from. Isn't that nice? In this case, we don't have to click on every episode to see if they've taken it from Veoh or not. This is some excellent work, mysoju!

But of course, it would suck, if the episode you want to watch is all from Veoh, like above?

Bad Housewife

Bad Housewife is a korean tv drama about a family. Husband, wife and a daughter. Normally, I wouldn't consider watching a family drama, but the summary of the story sounds kinda funny, so what the hell.

The husband, Goo Soo Han. The most obnoxious husband I have ever seen on tv (so far). He's views are 'husbands are meant for work and wifes are meant to stay at home'. Argh.

The wife, Choi Mi Na. I think she has a very sweet smile. Too bad she has a character husband like him. Tsk tsk.

The daughter, Goo Song Yi. The cutest kid ever, till she starts crying.

And then, the irritating busybody neighbor, and showoff

The pretty neighbor, Park Yoo Jin, that Soo Han 'falls' for.

The hunky boss of Mi Na, Ji Sun Woo, whom likes her eventhough she is married

And the office bitch, Nam Eun Mi. Typical tv soap, likes the boss, but boss likes someone else.

So, in the beginning, everything was fine. Husband goes to work and wife takes the kid to kindergarden. And then, everything went wrong when the husband gets fired from his job. Why?

For punching his potential client in a bar..

So what happens is, the wife decides to find a job to support the family, but the husband goes, argh no, I don't know how to clean the house, cook and blah blah. So left with no choice, as he can't find any job, but that's highly because his attitude stinks. Arrogant and gets mad easily. So, the story goes on and on about the life switching of the wife and husband. And later on in the story, the husband finds his wife

with another man. But of course, this is all a misunderstanding, cause the boss just wanted to drive her home cause she's all drunk and all. So what does the husband do?

And the next thing you know..

She catches him with another woman! Haha!

So, to find out what happen, watch the show!! Oh yeah, at the end of every episode, there's always this small clip of 'useful tips'. Its basically stuff like how do u get rid of garlic smell of your hands or how do you clean your gold jewellery. The only thing I doubt is the clip where he says, to make your handphone battery last longer, put it in the fridge. Hmmm..

Absolute Boyfriend / Zettai Kareshi

Usually I don't review tv shows but I'm gonna make an exception for this. I've been watching this show for a while (I'm done now!). So far, it's not bad. Things are getting more interesting as more episodes unveils. The difference between the manga and the tv show is that in the show, they're working adults while in the manga, they're just a bunch of high school kids.

Now, in the manga, Riiko is only in high school, while Riiko in the tv show is working and wants to be a patissier. (Riiko in the manga is waaaay prettier) Actually, the more episodes I see, the more kawaii i see her..

Night is the same in the manga and tv show. Thought I would prefer the one in the manga series, cause he looks much hotter than the Night in the tv show.

Same goes for Soshi Asamoto. Same name, but in the manga, he's in the same high school as Riiko. But in the tv show, he's Riiko's boss and is a playboy, apparently

There's also the guy who fixes Night. And also a character who doesn't have the same name in the manga. In the tv show, he's known as Shirasagi Yuki. He's not as energetic as the one in the manga anyway.

And lastly, Soshi's brother, Masashi who kinda resembles the guy from Winter Sonata.

In the show, Night does do some strange, funny and embarassing things like

Cheering her on.. shirtless, which he does ALOT

Suprisingly, these 2 guys are not hot enough for me to pant after. Night has a very skinny body to begin with. Loosen up on the hair spray please, your hair doesn't move at all in the show, guys. But I would definetely put this show as a 'must watch'. Every episode is hilariously funny and it makes you eager for the next episode. If you're looking for episodes (since veoh has taken my country of their list), try crunchyroll.com. There are episode there.

Okay, I'm done with the show now. Too bad there's only 11 episodes, wish there were more.. The show's worth a watch, you SHOULD watch it, if you're into the "awwww" shows. *spoiler* of course it does sucks when "you know who" shuts down.. heehee

Veoh sucks big time!

Okay, now that I've got 3 weeks break from school, what to do, what to do? Watch Korean dramas all day! Weee Hee!! And then I open http://www.mysoju.com/ and I found this..

I was so shocked... I didn't know how long I stared at the screen, but it was looong. So anyways, okay, find out why did they take Malaysia off the list. So I visited http://www.veoh.com/ and this greeted me.

WTF, they won't even let me view the webpage!!! Like we're some kind of outcast or invalid! So, the next place i went to search for answers is...

Yeah yeah, Veoh does not want to let us view their videos because apparently there aren't enough people from Malaysia supporting them.
