Post long overdue. Went to Cardiff on November, 2011 when it's freezing cold and it rained non stop.
We took the hop on hop off Cardiff. It's good, but there's not much to see in Cardiff.

And there was a barn where they had an eagle and a couple of owls
Cute until we saw that they are tied to the wall. :(
For lunch, we walked around and found a hidden gem tucked in the corner of the Castle
Cafe Minuet. There's not much room to sit inside, but pasta here is heaven.. SO GOOD! And it's pretty cheap! Very very glad we found this restaurant
Mechanical clock in the city centre
The next day, before we went home we stop at another Italian restaurant for lunch before we catch the bus back to Birmingham. Still blissful from our pasta yesterday, we decided to go for pasta again.
Mia Porto Due.
Starters, Mussels
Garlic Bread
Main Course, Penne Carbonara
Meatball Bolognese
It was close to Christmas, so I pop the poppers (and they charge it to our bill -.-). Food here is just.. blah
Next, we head off to the bus stop. But since we were early we decided to walk around a little
Park close to the bus stop
City Hall
Next to the City Hall was the Cardiff Winter Wonderland
Haha!
So cute
Overall, there wasn't much to see in Cardiff. The only high point of Cardiff was the Castle and the pasta. God, I miss the pasta..
