London Day 1!

London, I'm here! Shit, damn sleepy! 13 hours of plane ride, then, when we reached Heathrow, long long queue through imigration! That took an hour, mind you, jet lagged somemore.. Then, when we reached the counter, the lady said I needed to get x-rayed, since I'm going to be there more than 6 months. Grrr, so I had to strip into a gown and after that, needed to go through another line to get a chop on my passport! Grrrr!

After that, we were supposed to get an underground train to Victoria Station (our hotel is near the station) and noticed that the doors were shut. Huh? But it was only 6pm? Even our LRT don't close that early! Turns out, there was a strike that day! Another GRRRR! So we drag out luggages up to get a taxi, and thats another loooong queue. Because there was a strike, so everyone was rushing to get a cab.

Finally, reached out hotel. Shit! No lift, so we had to drag our huge (mine) luggages upstairs, to level 3, through narrow staircase (thinking of it, makes my legs shiver, brrr) but I was so extremely tired, that May had to carry it up. Surprisingly, she was very energetic. According to her, she slept most of the time on the plane, which I did not -.-

After splashing our face with some water, we decided to hunt for some dinner and May insisted we eat in some 'seafood' place.

Fume, May made me smile! I wanted to frown

May in her energetic body

Our fish soup. Quite nice

Chicken and Fries. Yuck!

May's Fish and Chips. Yuck, got peas! But the fish was verrry good

Next day, we went to Leicester Square to queue for musical tickets at Tkts. According to May they give discounts with very good seats

Smile!

Tickets to Billy Elliot

Tkts

Couldn't resist taking a photo in the red telephone booth
(It stinks inside!)

While we were there, we decided to walk around. Oh, China town was just opposite Leicester Square!

Picadilly Circus

Thriller
Les Miserables!

Leicester Square is surrounded by movie theaters. So sometimes when there's a London premiere, the cinemas here would be the one who's hosting it! Coolness! May once saw Kylie Minogue here!

Decided to snack on a huge slice of pizza. Yum!!!

Later for dinner we ate at Belgos, Convent Garden

Man, they love their chips here!

Here, they are known for their mussels. Yum! So much somemore! No way in KL will they serve this much!

Yum!

Spotted Chicago musical theater. I wanna go!!

Walked passed the Royal Theatre

After walking around, it's time for... Billy Elliot!!

Inside the theater, during interval.

Shit, this musical is SOOO good!! Must watch must watch! But the accent is really thick, so quite hard to understand their talkings. But damn, the boy can dance!!

Camwhore time!!

After the musical, it's time to head back to the hotel and sleeeeep..

It's Good Bye Soon...

Time sure flies by super fast. I remember just saying that, "Oh, I'll be leaving in 4 months time. Yes, it's still a long way more to go..". Well it's September now, I've only got 5 more days left in KL. That's less than a week! Oh boy, I'm sooo going to miss KL. KL Food, the horrendous weather, my car, my bed, my family and my friends.. This whole week is meant for meeting with friends and saying good bye.

I just finished packing the other day and I realised that.. my cupboard is empty. Empty. Well, I really pray my life will change in Birmingham. I hope it's going to be exciting as what I have imagine it to be. Cause it's going to be a whole different Yin Yin there. Good Bye.. soon
